Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument?  Do you enjoy listening to beautiful flute music, but only dream of learning to play for yourself?  Dream no longer.  Begin the journey to a life filled with music.  Call me today.

Rebecca Young

Flute instructor with over 8 years of experience

Bachelor of Music from Drury University in Applied Flute

Palen Music Center instructor 1999-2003

I would love a chance to instill a love of music in the life of you and/or child(ren).  I teach beginner through adult.

No flute, no problem!!

For the introductory lesson, I will provide the instrument so the student may see if flute is something they would like to pursue.  If it is, I am willing to help you choose the instrument right for you.

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the SAC Library (Springfield Area Curriculum Lending Library) Volunteer Staff for doing the preparation behind-the-scenes work for the FREE Resource Exchange in EduFairs 2007.

Borrow Your Homeschool Books! At the SAC (Springfield Area Curriculum)
LENDING LIBRARY
 WHAT’S AVAILABLE?
Textbooks, Teacher’s Manuals, Homeschool how-to books, videos and lots of other support materials.
 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
To get started, there is a $3 card fee.  After that, it’s $1 Per Item/ Per School Year (everything must be returned or renewed by the end of June).
 WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
Tuesdays  1:00 - 3:00
 WHERE IS SAC?
We are using a room at Immanuel Baptist Church in Springfield.
From Kansas Expressway, turn west on Nichols.  Nichols is one light north of Chestnut Expressway, or one light south of Division.  Go three blocks west on Nichols, and turn right on La Fontaine.  The SAC library is upstairs in the old rock church behind the newer church building.  Go through the entryway then turn right. Turn right again and go up the stairs in the far corner.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN WITH ME?
Yes, but they must stay with their parent, be well-behaved, and must not disturb church property.Immanuel Baptist Church is allowing us to use this space. Their building and everything in it must be respected.
There is no air-conditioning, and the stairs are narrow. The church is not associated with the SAC Lending Library.  We are very thankful to have the use of a room in their building.  PLEASE come only on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 3:00.  THANK YOU FOR NOT DISTURBING CHURCH EMPLOYEES!
If you need more information, please email us at SAC_Library@yahoo.com
If you are unable to use email at all, you may call one of the volunteers at home. Please understand though, that we are all homeschool moms and our time is precious too!
